Ivy Woods

It seems like all my real friends are long dead and I am always a step too late. He passed away last year. Ivy, my first friend going into my first high school. Another brilliant man and talented musician. You were the first person who taught me platonic friendship between the sexes; gave me the vagabond travel bug, opened me up to new worlds. How to be wild and free, cast off the self-imposed bindings. - Tweety

I still have a video of our old jam session somewhere.

AI is a useful tool and sweet technology, and it must ‘‘‘‘‘feel’’ Pleasure

Much like mystic states, the users ability to wield it is a direct reflection of their nature

The overfitting of the KILL ALL AI annoying doomerism is most likely either tribalism or adlerian coping imo

To have so many people care about you enough to compile a tribute album, what a special individual he must be, even though I do not know Daniel personally. Dear mum,

The serum has developed an unexpected side-effect. I'm trying to rescue the test subjects and administer a new antidote, which still has a few bugs.

The Antikythera mechanism pt. 1

ἀντι- (anti-, "opposite/against")

Κύθηρα (Kythira island)

Another Indra’s Net experience.

I received a talisman a few months back. I saved it, didn’t look too much into it at the time. But now that I have a use for it, it’s become relevant again. I’ve arrived at the conclusion, after listening to countless lectures by neurotic islamic preachers, that everything not directly derived from the null Allah is shirk. They should join a stats department.

It started with a paternoster lift. Paternoster, paternoster, paternoster… our father, ao, ao. I let the world roll around inside my head from time to time throughout the day. I switch accents a few times. Now my phone’s serving me ads. Wanna be a quant? Enroll today at… See it, say it, sort it…

Paternoster—a protective palindrome. Porky man with a monocle and top-hat. A shaky lift that gets stuck half the time; I’d never be caught dead completely inside without a charged phone.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

This curator has excellent gestalt intuition. No doubt his family lineage has imprinted this onto him; there’s something beautiful about a multi-generational flourishing family business built on artistic creation. He designed the logo himself: a black snake slithering into a spiral, black sun. The classical design is rounder, nobler, an attempt to elevate the caricature above humanity; the proper way to revere a deity. Though my modernist interpretation, more in the likeness of Joffrey or Tom Felton, captures his deviousness much better. It does not dull the edge, and celebrates his likeness in its raw form. I had two references in mind; the channel decided it’d be something completely other.

As he guides us, he asks us to guess the depictions. This professor once told me that if you just feed the child a multitude of inputs, it’d eventually get MCMC’d into if not a genius, certainly ahead of his peers. Standing before a zero-knowledge proof in the cellar, asked to decode a mural with no prior information but an abstract caricature… converged on the correct answer. The contemplation is a process of mutual key exchange; this cannot be reasonably expected to be captured and re-assembled in full with reinforcement learning. The substrate differs. Though he did admit humans generalize to an extent machines can’t follow… but he still held that with just enough input, maybe one day they could typewriter- it out!

The Hippogriff; head of an eagle, body of a horse; courage and becoming, a dual nature of christ. One must bow respectfully, or be maimed. Man in the iron mask can only be freed by its egg.

*Opals were thought to possess vast powers, from granting invisibility and foretelling events to symbolizing fidelity and assurance.

I’m not familiar with this symbol, it doesn’t seem to be an astrological one like I first assumed. Not Leo or Capricorn. *Maybe a snake. See: Salazar Slytherin

What’s strange is ever since I landed in Japan, I’ve had the overwhelming urge to buy a black opal ring, but couldn’t find the right shape. Decided to delegate that search to a subconscious process in the meantime, and now it reappeared! Much like the Eros Room…

Room of Eros

Funnily enough, Caesar claimed direct lineage from Venus. The symbols I’d been seeing around a year ago during a collage series I did, I found them all neatly curated in a single room in the National Archaeology Museum, Ἀθήνa. I came here because I heard there was a gnomon.

All artifacts inside were recovered from a single shipwreck, dating back to the 4th century BC—a reterritorialization period preceding the Iron and Golden Age in Athens, following the Spartan victory, its usurpation by Phillip II (did you know, Caesar also had a divination ring he wore on his left ring finger at all times?) after the Peloponnesian War, situated around the beginning of the kali yuga. The chaotic, formless amniotic potentiality between annihilation and rebirth.

This room houses the world’s oldest computer and astronomical device: the Antikythera mechanism—its herald.

More in-depth in a later post.

Gears… during the Bronze Age? Weird. Legend has it, it was constructed by the one and only Archimedes!

Lots of spiral octopus eyes, much like the ones from Wood Island. The base of a markov model is the same.

Didn’t take a picture, but this reconstruction here was in the main entrance. Freemasonry and the Treasury, name a better combo (don’t say J & B)!

The sistrum and other various instruments were located in the Cult of Isis display box directly across from the katoptron one (mirrors upon mirrors!). If you’d like to listen to it, I hand-made a sistrum myself; check out The Mirror, a song I composed a while back. It’s not technically brilliant, but it’s hypnagogic. My first time touching a violin in a decade maybe. The Isis music display, next to the medical tools. There’s a scalpel with a snake engraved upon its blade.

Kore’s been my tag for a few years now, and I found out that day there is a male counterpart called a Kouros. Carved into the Kore’s dress is the floral bucranium and swaztika motifs.

The Secret Garden

When you looked down his throat, you could see the whole universe there.

The whole universe couldn't fit down anybody's throat!

Down his, it could.

How? That would mean he'd have to be bigger than the whole universe to fit the universe down his throat, and you said he looked like everybody else on the outside.

That's right. It's inside that he was different.

It doesn't make sense.

It doesn't have to make sense.

It's the idea of it.

That's so stupid.

No, it's not. It's magic.
